The Ideal Human Model in the Book "Little Words" by Imam Al-Nursi

Abstract

God Almighty created this world as a place for man to be tested, and created good and evil to test him with them. Those who chose good joined Abel, and those who chose evil joined Cain. And God sent messengers and newspapers and sent down the holy books so that the ideal man would appear, and among his attributes through the messengers and in the newspapers and books he had revealed.

In this article, we sought to highlight the qualities that an ideal person should possess and which he should not possess through our reading of the first eight words from the book “The Words” by Imam Bediuzzaman Said al-Nursi who elaborated an interpretation of the Holy Qur’an in the twenty-first century.

The article is divided into two parts, the first section is a main headline, which is the positive and benign qualities, and it deals with under it side headings such as a person's knowledge of his powerlessness, his taking the Hereafter as his primary goal, obedience to God, supplication and worship, and other titles.

The second section is also a main title, which is the negative and bad qualities, and it deals with qualities that a person should not be characterized by accusing God Almighty, walking in the path of delusion, taking the worldly purpose as his basic goal, and deceiving him and other attributes.
