Faith is an Integral Whole in Imam Nursi's Vision

Abstract

The enmity of Islam and Muslims has not ceased since the first moment, and it is in the nature of the enemies of Islam throughout the history of mankind, and from the very first moment Waraqa  Ibn  Nofal made this clear when he told the Prophet [peace be upon him ] that the prophets were subjected to aggression from their opponents, so he said: “Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility” narrated by Al-Bukhari. The most important tools of this hostility against Islam and Muslims were the hypocrites, who were and still are the most dangerous tools of Islam’s enemies in implementing their plans and plots against Islam and Muslims. Therefore, this planning was based on striking the rules of religion, demolishing the constant beliefs, and then moving to the foundations that govern religion and faith in the aspects of the life of Ummah by excluding the Sharia. And in the midst of the bloody tragedies and the struggle with the enemies of this religion, great men and scholars are emerging to lead this Ummah and to serve this religion. Among these scholars is Imam Badi Al-Zaman Saeed Al-Nursi, who took responsibility to educate the Ummah and to renew the life through faith, as he showed that faith is one truth that stems from six unified pillars that do not accept differentiation, and it is holistic that does not bear division, and it is a whole whose pillars do not accept division. The researcher follows in this article the analytical method.
