This research applies the inductive and analytical methods to reach Imam Nursi’s approaches in addressing depression. The research reaches conclusion that there are four possible treatments of mental depression according to Imam Nursi’s approaches, first: eliminating the desire for immortal and perfection, second: relying on the infinite power and strength of Allah al-Qadir and submitting all affairs to Him, third: contemplating (tafakkur) on the creation of man and universe, and fourth: viewing life and death through the lens of faith.
