Reasons for the Continuity and Permanence of Risale-i Nur

Abstract

The writer itemizes the causes of the duration and permanence of Risale-i Nur in five
aspects; the first one is that the Risale-i Nur follow the holy Qur’an, and it tries to
display the Qur’anic method in dealing with the universe, the human being and the
life. The second aspect is that Risale-i Nur converses the intellect and the heart at the
same time.
The third aspect is that the students of Risale-i Nur adopt the qualities of sincerity
and asceticism. The fourth aspect is the good model that is presented by the students
of Risale-i Nur. Eventually, the article presents the fifth aspect, which is the model
of Ahmed Husrev Effendi the foremost one among the students of Risale-i Nur.
