The Literal Approach and The Nominal Approach in The Risale-i Nur

Abstract

The research aims that Imam Nursi, by borrowing these two terms (the meaning of the literal and the nominal) from the science of grammar, presents a clear approach in dealing with the entire existence represented in the universe, life, man, and other beings, creatures, and assets in general, and in dealing with the Creator, Glory be to Him. Who created this universe out of nothing with His wisdom, power, knowledge, and will, Glory be to Him. He used these two terms to acquire the new view through which man looks at the universe and events and solves social problems with them. The research used the analytical method for some of the texts contained in the Risale-I Nur on this subject. The researchers reached several results, the most important of which is that faith and ideological issues can be a solution to our social problems using Imam Nursi's method.
